Product Overview
Our ultra-thin (0.3-1mm) duplex 2205 foil offers high electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength for proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) bipolar plates.
Challenge
Graphite and coated 316L bipolar plates suffer from either brittleness, high cost, or corrosion-induced contact resistance.
Solution
Duplex 2205 foil provides bulk corrosion resistance without coatings, low interfacial contact resistance, and high strength for thin-gauge stamping.

How It Works
The passive film is conductive enough under compression. Duplex structure prevents hydrogen embrittlement in anode environment.
Selection Guidance
For automotive fuel cells, 0.3mm 2205 is optimal. For stationary units, 0.5mm 2507 offers longer life. Request ICR test data.
