Our custom-cut duplex 2205/2507 plates offer high strength, excellent erosion-corrosion resistance, and superior weldability for mining slurry handling equipment.
Mining slurries—characterized by acidic, chloride-rich, and abrasive properties—rapidly degrade 316L liners and mild steel chutes through synergistic erosion-corrosion mechanisms.
Duplex 2205/2507 alloys provide exceptional hardness, superior corrosion resistance, and twice the yield strength of conventional materials, significantly reducing equipment weight and operational downtime.

The ferrite phase provides exceptional abrasion resistance while the austenite phase ensures superior toughness. High pitting resistance prevents undercutting of wear marks, extending service life.
For highly acidic slurries (pH<3), choose 2507 grade. For neutral environments with high solids content, 2205 offers optimal cost-effectiveness. Request hardness testing (typically 28-32 HRC) for specific application validation.
Not needed; duplex alloys provide natural wear resistance without requiring additional hardfacing treatments.
Custom sizes available up to 3000×12000 mm to accommodate various industrial requirements.
Excellent performance in wet sand environments, significantly outperforming AR400 steel in both corrosion resistance and durability.
